Software Engineering Manager

Job Description:
This is a senior position to lead a group of teams in the development of next generation wireless embedded protocol software. Within this position you will:

Maintain, review and modify project plans and product release cycles.
Coordinate software branches

Measure and monitor progress to ensure that the project is delivered on time.
Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks.
Work with management and review of commitments to customers to determine goal and scheduling.
Analyze project risk and develop mitigation efforts accordingly.
Interact with customers to coordinate efforts.
Establish procedures for project reporting and documentation.
Coordinate evaluation, training, guidance of engineers.
Ensure that engineers follow quality assurance processes and best practices.
- Experience of embedded software development, C based applications or protocols development.
- Experience in software branch management
- Experience in managing software development team.
- Experience in full project life cycles from concept to delivery.
- Takes initiative and ability to work with limited direction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capacity.
- Strong team work and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of wireless communication technologies.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Organized, cooperative and hard working.
