CAREER OPPORTUNITIES! The Institute for Enterprise Development (IED), Abu Dhabi University, is seeking experienced and qualified staff in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The Institute is specialize in deliveringpractical work related programs and qualifications for students entering employment or in-service training for those pursuing a vocational or professional career. It has sites in Abu Dhabi at the new campus in Khalifa City and in a custom built educational facility in Al Ain. SYSTEMS NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR - Responsibilities includes: installs, configures and upgrades operating systems andsoftware, using standard business and administrative packages; may modify specificapplications for use in operational departments. Installs, assembles and configurescomputers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers, scannersand related hardware; pulls cables and rewires or directs the rewiring of cables as requiredfor new installations and office reconfiguration. Troubleshoots problems with computersystems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, e-mail, network and peripheralequipment problems; makes repairs and corrections where required. Acts as a technicalresource in assisting users to resolve problems with equipment and data.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Degree in CS, Engineering
or similar with severalyears of hands-on experience and certification in the area of specialty.
